The Vega is actually an old Don Hardy Prostock car. It ran in 76 and part of 77 in NHRA prostock. It has been updated to current requirements. The altered has been modified extensively. It use to be a true hemi blown alcohol funny car that belonged to BadBobs grandfather. I updated the cage that is over the driver and rebuilt the front end from the mid plate foward. It was shortened from 125 in wb to 118 in. I adapted it to run a big or small block chevy with either t350,t400 or glide.

Good job on the iron man race. We go to Darlington 4 or 5 times a year. Hopefully we will get back there before they close for the winter. Don can tell you all about the mustang.

Yes, good eye there. It hits the wheelie bars really and they seem to drive the car about 60'. I have since made some adjustments and it has improved.
