Lol that dude has an RS with SS badges.

Also, it's interesting to see the reactions from the different fanbases. Camaro guys are like hell yea he's laying down the gauntlet! And then there's the Mustang guys saying he's hitting the panic button lol.

Was an interesting read. Some of the guys were true car enthusiast while others were simply fan boys regardless of facts. I REALLY hope Ford comes forth on this bet cause I have faith in the win. :cheers

I just hope the ZL1 has more than the SS. I swear the couple that has come to the strip couldnt outrun a 305hp V6 Mustang. I mean GTO's and G8's seem to be alot quicker then the SS Camaro's I have seen run..

I haven't been impressed with them ever since I dyno'd the same as a brand new one with my very mild setup 4banger.

I think Chevrolet needs to step it up with the camaro line. I have not been impressed at all.

I catch myself wanting a 2011 GT more and more. If I had the funds to go buy a car today, it would be the GT. That says a lot considering I am diehard Chevrolet.

Just buy a 03/04 cobra for half the price

I would have to go Mopar. I am just not a fan of a chop top on a car or truck and thats how the Camaro looks to me..

1/2 the price but nobody will finance it because of how old it is and what its actually worth vs what its being financed for and it wont have a warranty. :poke:

Bring the horsepower wars back. Don't put all the features in a car to make the hemroids comfortable. More power less weight is what is needed. That goes for all cars

The issue with chevy in my opinion is that if you make a 600+ hp camaro for 55k nobody is going to buy a vette with 505hp for 85k if they step up one car they have to do it to all of them otherwise it will be pointless to buy the more expensive car unless your a diehard vette fan.

Love an 02SS or 69 era but the new ones look like Batman designed them..no thanks. Still a respectable car and proud it's American but not my taste.

Mine was financed in 09 and had a 3 year warranty from the dealership. Even had probably 3k dollars worth of warranty work before i started swapping stuff and vioded the remaining amount of time. 46k miles, 3 year warranty, and the dealership financed me(with 0 credit at all, and very little down) 18,000 dollars over 3 years. It happens, you just got to look:bigthumb:

Ide like to have a new GT, but i think ill wait a few years and snag a used one for 1/3 the price.

Thats what I would do. This is my first and only brand new car.

Apparently it's THAT serious.

I love me some Camaros, but after comparing it to the Mustang, I had to go the other way this time.

And it took 396/399 in my g8 (on Showzones Dyno) for 8.3's.....

Those rear gears and DoD really suck ass.....

chrisheltra
