Just a bunch of gang graffiti. I know he put up some fences, but I'm not sure how much of it really blocks behind the building.

When are they going to do something with that place! It's been falling apart since the early 90's.
There might some cool spots on the old Navy base.

The town council told him the facility was unsafe and that he needed to demolish the property, but he couldn't afford it so they allowed him to put up a fence to keep people from going inside the abandon buildings.
Honestly, I think that is a great piece of property, but he has to put money into it that he doesn't have to even make it sellable. Something to do with building codes.
(This is just a rumor, so you know how that goes.)

If he has no money than selling of property would be ideal.

Makes sense to me. Get what you can out of it and move on. I remember going to the Save-Mart or whatever it was called when it was a grocery store. Had a crush on one of the cashiers!
That power plant building on the Navy base is really cool. Don't know if you could get good shots off it though.
Go back up Meeting St. extension/Spruil toward downtown and their is that cool old building that says Antiques on the outside. Again, not sure if you could get in any good shots.

Army wives has a lot of equipment stored on the old navy base and pays north charleston to sit out there while the show is in season. Shouldn't be an issue as long as you don't look like terrorist or thieves.

+1 for the old Naval Yard. Pretty much anything on Noisette would suffice. Lots of great "abandoned porn" over that way.
