Went to RA this weekend. Short video of half the 5th session chasing a Viper ACR-X. He was a good guy. Older gentleman that bought a cool track toy. $125,000 and 640hp, full slicks, serious car. He was taking it easy through the corners, but would run away down the straights. Fun session.
Wind noise still sucks and the high-pitched gear whine is from the failing diff.

It's a good time. Car just has LT headers, no cats, Borla stingers, CAI, crap mail order tune, Carbotech pads, Motul fluid, brake cooling, coilovers and MTI sway bars. And NT-01 rubber.
2011 GTR passed me during the last lap of the video. Driver owns Forged Performance, a GTR shop in Atlanta.
Next up is a NASA event at VIR in late February.

Black BMW just out for a joy ride? Kinda in the way.
Pulling that Viper off some of those corners. Looked good.

Great vid, but you should spring for a Go Pro HD. Would really like to go over to RA sometime soon.

Id love to take the slobra out there at least once. Whats required to make a few laps as far as safety equipment and such. Price?

Not to hijack Sargent's thread but Hooked on Driving has 2 sessions coming up Jan and Feb at Roebling Road in Savannah. They will also be at Carolina Motorsports Park in March.
$250 for a day. The only safety equipment is a SA2000 or later helmet (rentals are available for $25).

We did it last Friday and the only casualty was a 281 Saleen that lost it in turn 1 and went off into a berm, ripping the front fascia off.
