Went to Showzone to chill for a bit last week.


White Lighting, guy is a contractor but stays here iirc. He said it was painted so unsure of the OG color.


Said it had 8500 miles on it.....or something near there.....fully built, hella nice sounding exhaust, Whipple etc.....


Anyone seen/herd of it? Was hella clean too....nice guy to talk with.

Seriously, if a shop continuously has bad product coming out I can understand hating on them. However, in this case, Showzone like many other local mom&pop shops, have a continuous loyalty of customers sticking with that same shop. I being one of them.

And bashing a local shop when MonteC has a local shop iirc? What a dick move to talk trash about a shop you and, I would say 80% of members here have never stepped in, or been near. Such great character.

I'm friends with Jerry& his wife, Collin, Joey and the rest of the gang up there. There good people and I have nothing against them, they will install whatever you want on any car, Colin will tune things if you have a standalone or something like a hydra, aem, and stuff like that but if you went up with BS3, SCT, CMR ,HPT, EFIL or others like that, they would probably recommend you go to someone else. They sell diablo handhelds, but all the tuning they would do is adjust the preset stuff that comes in the handheld menu's. If you made major changes in fuel system or induction, they'd need to get a base from someone else.

They don't claim to be a shop that does lightnings, camaros, or mustangs ither and they don't have most of the software to do them anyway.

Their an install shop, and thats mostly what they do. I've talked to them several times about some of the lightnings that have come up there and helped/whatnot.

Just wanted to give you a heads up that a Vendor has been complaining about you and it's not just me he's complaining to. ***** may disappear for months on end but when Vendors continue to complain about the same person he likes to jump in and I really don't want to see that.

I have to stay neutral in cases like this no matter what my personal feelings are towards the Vendor
(and I don't think it's a secrete I don't like some).
I have to grin and bear it on a regular basis and when I don't have something nice to say I simply say nothing, all I can ask is for you to please do the same

Thats what they do, they whine and cry when you call them out. They join up sites as a supporting vendor and at the hint of someone calling them out, they complain. Some sites that works on (usually its the ones that the owner uses as monitary gain and nothing more knows nothing and has no stake in helping the community as a hole), some it don't. I've seen them get blasted on other sites too, some places have removed them as supporting vendors, and some they wouldn't show their face because they know it would be a slaughterhouse (like here).

One of the last things that went on that really chapped my butt, was when this extremely hot chick who was like a model or something and owned this sweet built, big bore Kenne Bell, 03 harley davidson truck came on one of the national forums asking about getting her truck tuned. She lives in another country across the pond or something and had just got the truck back halved. She drag raced alot apparently, so by reading what she was asking and seeing what she had done I offered up some advice about some tuners to go with and who to stay away from and why in her quest to go fast.

I posted up the story of how crappy my truck ran when I was tuned by them and how luckily I got rid of their tune before I needed a new transmission, I also posted up a video of what it sounded like when my truck shifted on their tune (it sounded like someone hit the tranny with a jackhammer). Well low and behold they complained and the thread got deleted by the Nazi mod, she ended up flying Amazon over the pond they tuned her, she took it to the track, it ran crappy (slower than what it did before they touched it), she made a couple more passes and then two weeks later I see one of her posts come up and it was something like "In need of a new transmission, Mine gave out" I was like............ Stupid mod, I could have looked out for her and saved her a ton of money, what kind of comunity supports that kind of BS..... From there on out It was no holds barred and finally got me banned from that forum.

Yup... FAP FAP and it was a Big whipple not a KB, I think she had a KB but switched to the Whipple all I remember it was low 11's before they tuned it and was high 11's after they tuned it with the bigger blower.... sad, just sad.

I didn't offer to tune her truck because I was not a supporting vendor, I recommended she go with JDM or JLP because they had fast trucks with similar setups running numbers at the track reliably and they were supporting vendors too.

I tune my own stuff, and i know why they tear stuff up. I sent another tuner one of their tunes they sent me because I didn't have the CMR software at the time to look at why it was crappy, I got an email back from the guy and all it said was "lol I looked at it, and deleted it, here try this tune I built instead".
