I need to get the oil changed in the Corvette and I want to take it to someone. Don't trust a few of the local places. I've read too many horror stories. For those of you who don't change your oil (I know, I know... none of you), who do you take your car to? I'd rather pay money to someone in the CHP family tree than a chain.
Thanks!

Selepack Auto Detailing and Oil Change can do it for $99.99 + corvette tax!
Seriously though, I can't think of anyone.

Why don't you just do it yourself?

For oil changes I use Hill Tire. They offer a Mobil 1 oil service but I buy my own and they do it for $15. They even put the extra half quart back in the box for me to take home. Used them for years with no problems with many different vehicles.

That sounds like a good deal there! If you have an angled driveway you don't even need a jack.

I do the same. Trolley road guys are good and will take care of you. So much easier than disposing of the oil.

Rather just pay someone. My car is lowered and it is a pain in the ass work jack up. Rather just drop it off and pick it up later.

Might have to check a local one out. Thanks.

I have nothing but good things to say about Hill Tire. Actually, they're the only shop in Charleston I have experience with that I have had a 100% positive experience.

I own Fords and take my stuff to Jones. Price is in-line and I get oem stuff. I know filter only, but I don't feel like laying under my truck or the wife's expedition.

I take my truck to the dealer. It's the cheapest in town.

I do my own even though the dealer could do it cheaper.

we can do it at Masterbend. Wont screw the car up getting it on the rack and will tighten the drain plug back up before you leave. the cheapest route is to get the oil and filter if you want and just bring it to me. otherwise i can get what you want if you want to call ahead and tell me what oil you want

I cannot change the oil in any of my engines without making a bleeding mess.
Oil Dry owns me.

Thanks Bob... That was my main concern, since I lowered my car. I heard a lot of horror stories about dealers cracking rocker panels. I also have the "hockey pucks" in case you need those to get it on the lift. I will give you a call soon enough. Thanks!

I do my Cobra due to using Royal Purple but I just go shopping and let Walmart do the daily. Easy to do, have the tools and garage but transporting oil to dispose is just not worth the pain. -Shane
