That does really suck for any front line soldier. Our troops can't fight a war effectively under the "politically correct" rules of engagement our politicians have imposed on them. The third world huns our troops are fighting against sure don't care about fighting in a politically correct manner, so why should we? To me, the term "war" means to win any which way you can. The only rule of war should be to survive.

Unfortunately, instead of the Pentagon being filled with noteworthy officers and commanders, it is filled with uniformed politicians that kow-tow to whatever administration is sitting in the White House. Its filled with a bunch of Monday morning quarterbacks that have long forgotten what it is like to survive fighting an un-uniformed enemy that looks just like all the surrounding civilians. That's a lesson that wasn't learned from the useless Vietnam war. They are basically treating our troops as expendable trigger monkeys just to save their own cushsy jobs in an air conditioned Pentagon office.

The only fair thing to do for our troops is to bring them all home if they aren't allowed to fight a war to win. I hate to think about how many front line troops we have lost because they stalled in the heat of battle while thinking of a politically correct way to respond to the enemy.

It's no wonder that Ron Paul has more campaign contributions from the active military than all other candidates combined.

Its pathetic, but i will say that on the small unit level we do have some good leaders in the marine corps, i cant tell you how many times i have been told to do what i have to do and we will deal with the consequences later. Its sad that we have guys that are scared to shoot someone because of the rules that some suit dummy feels are right, and to be honest im sick and tired of seeing people criticize us for what we do or have done when they have no fucking clue how it is to be in that situation. In my opinion unless you have been in a combat situation then you have no right to run your mouth, half of these officers havent done shit and never will do shit, even if they have been to iraq/afghan that doesnt mean that they did a damn thing, living in an air conditioned room with internet, they can all go fuck themselves, but its ok because the majority of people in this country dont have the nuts to stand up and do anything about it anyway so it doesnt really matter.
