With everything going on I figure I would add my story too. 2 weeks ago I broke my wrist and 2 fingers. My neighbor was driving his new rc car and lost control. The car hit the curb and went into the air hitting me and then hitting my truck and denting it. :shock: I was off to the side filming it and didn't have time to react. The car was going around 80 mph at the time. It is the new Traxxas xo-1 that does 100 mph out of the box.

Sucks because I just started on my car and now I am in a cast for 4 more weeks and then not supposed to lift anything for another 6 weeks after that.

Wow, hit by a flying RC car. I've wondered about those things - seems like they could be out of range very quickly and then become uncontrollable.

There are safety features that prevent that on many cars.

That sucks jimmy. Was hoping this wasn't another bad karma on ford thread

That sucks. Did he have insurance? I know the airplane guys need it to fly at the RC airports.

I've seen the ads for these but I thought they were nitro cars. Can't believe they are electric.

When they say "Experts Only!" apparently they mean it.

Yep. The range on them is actually pretty good. It will go about until you can't see it and still control it. I've run rc cars for years and we have hit each other before on accident and nothing. This car is just on another level. It actually required watching a video to "unlock" it. The car itself is nasty. The rate it picks up speed is incredible.
