just wondering if anyone had a lift that i could use to check where i'm leaking oil? its at the back but looks to be commin from the top somewhere i just cant get my fatass under there to see :)

Run your hand across the back of the intake. LT1's are common for having oil leaks there. I can take a look at it Sunday when we scan the codes.

On the LT1s, the oil pressure sending unit is right behind the intake. During a trans R&R, if you let the trans hang down too far you can damage the oil pressure sending unit by it getting forced up against the firewall pretty hard.

ah ok i will check that out too the po had the trans rebuilt before i got it

If you have a 94 the sensor will be above the oil filter, not behind the intake.

ooo ok i dont know much about lt1's this is my first but yeah it is a 94

used to do "intake parties" on the LT1's for the rear oil leak.
be careful which radiator hose goes where, just below the cap: one is for reservoir, one is return line from Throttle Body. it makes a mess when you swap them

I too have done this. Good thing I had the TB coolant lines bypassed.
