Filling in the holes for the hood pins was a pain in the ass. I'm excited to see how it looks compared to the original paint. I'll be bolting it on tonight. I'll probably work on the spoiler later this week. I think I've used too much base though. I've got about 5/8 of a gallon left after painting the engine bay and the hood. I don't know though, it's my first time painting. I guess that's quite a bit of coverage to have the top and bottom of the hood and all of the engine bay.

Pretty good for first timer. Let it cure before you do anything to it.

I just got back from a cruise and it's been sitting since then. It was a 4 day cruise. I bolted it up and put it on there tonight.

Yea, I've got the aarons elbow on there. It fit fine with the edelbrock, the aarons, not so much

I painted it in the garage. The base didn't have any trash in it. The clear however, it grabs everything in the air and drops it in to stay. My arm hairs were sticky and so was the floor. I wonder if paint shops rent out their booths.
