for outside I like to use a little bmixture of Probuild and Wisdom from the local do it yourself pest control store. usually go two feet up the exterior wall and 4 feet out into the grass. Good knock down and both act as a repellent. The Probuild is oil based so leaves a nice stench, gives u a day or two of skeeter less evenings.
