LS Trunion Upgrade

Be sure to use the new bolts that come with the kit, the stock ones end up being too long and will bottom out, then snap by not hold down the rocker arm enough.

New bolts are too long for a LS7. Have to reuse stock bolts.

Pretty much lol. Seen quite a few sold this way and I don't want to mess them up by removing them so I'd like to keep them together.

The rockers on a LS series ride on a set of needle bearings. These things can and do fail especially when you have a bigger cam. When they come apart they spill the needles into your engine. The trunion updrade replaces factory setup with a new and improved design that is much more robust and less apt to fail.

Any true roller rocker regardless of engine has a large pivot trunion. You basically bolt the trunion to the pedestal on the cylinder head and the rocker rotates on the trunion.
