Hey all,
I just moved here to Beaufort, from Delaware, and looking to get into the car scene down here. I work at a car delaership, here in Beaufort (So if you need a car, let me know, I have a great referral system that will make you money)
I'm a PROUD owner of a rare car; 1988 Merkur XR4Ti. I have a long list of mods done to it, interior, exterior, and motor.
Its powered by a 2.3 Turbo Ford with a fully built head, 20PSI, T-5 trans, and LOTS more. Enough of the typing, here are pics:

Any questions, I'm here to answer. Thanks for looking.

The site is moderating threads of newbs with more than 1 link/img tag. We have had a lot of spam lately, and I'm trying to stop it behind the scenes.
I merged your 2 intro threads.

Before the head build I put down 225hp/ 304 ft/lbs torque. My new head is not on yet. I'm guessing around 320 HP 350 lb/ ft. The car is 2200 lbs.

I know that top gear car well. It was bought off of a forum member on another sight, then sold back to another forum member on the same forum. I love it.

I remember changing a radiator hose on a Merkur when I was about 11. Only time I've ever seen one in person.

Once my car gets down here, I want to get it together, and do some shows, and autocrosses. I want to hit a strip, to see what I can do in the quarter. The first thing is getting the head back on, and a proper tune.

There's a local guy that collects these cars. He had probably 10 of them 7 or so years ago. I was the "lucky" guy that did all his glass work for him. Pain in the ass but really cool cars. I saw one on Dorchester by av engineering the other day. Was in rough shape though.
Welcome to the madhouse.

I'm hoping to get my car by the first of October, HOPING, crossing my fingers, knocking on wood, etc. I've been needing a truck real bad to go up to Delaware, and get it, but have had no luck.
