View Full Version : Scrap Lead
I'm making 12 gauge slugs and I went around to 4 places here in West Ashley and I got the same thing from them all, "We're on a recycling program". I understand this and I wouldn't ask anyone to jeopardize their job by giving me scrap.
Anyone know of a source for scrap lead that's "Ok"?
It would be appreciated.

I have heard of the metal recycler on hwy 52 headed to Moncks Corner having some scrap lead for sale every now and then. I don't know what their prices are, though.

Yeah how much you lookin for
Thanks for asking guys. Well after my experience today of everyone being on a recycling program and it looking like the pickins will be slim, I'll say I'll take all someone is willing to give up. But I wouldn't want to take advantage of the situation...

Have a couple hundred pounds but were using it for the same thing. Contact a tire shop and ask for their old wheel weights.
