my acer is a few years old now, its very worn looking but i've had no problems with it, i also have a toshiba that my wife uses and it seems to be faster but i've had to replace a few pieces in it even though its newer than the acer.

I have 6 laptops ranging from $275 Acer to a $3,000 Dell. I also have a couple HP's in between those price ranges. For what your wanting to do buy the $275 Acer. My two main tuning laptops are a $700 HP and the $275 Acer. I prefer the Acer hands down. Its slow BUT for tuning and just getting on the net its works great. I max all my laptops out on RAM and have a solid state HD that I use in my main tuning laptop.
