dude took his camaro in for a "parking lot speed" noise, and he setup an audio recorder in the car...they beat on his car pretty bad. Burnouts, driving it hard, etc, and were talking shit while talking about a way to scam him for un-needed work.

I have no doubt this same type of behavior has happened with both my truck and my car.

I just showed our service manager and our shop foreman. I can honestly tell you that none of the guys here would do that. Ill stand behind that statement.

You may still get your chance. Even after the rebuild it grinds into gears.

Palmetto Ford did that to me once, the only reason I found out was because when i picked the car up it had 10 miles on it (was there for a seatbelt replacement TSB) and a huge crack in my windshield... Then the service writer had the balls to tell me they needed to test drive it and the windshield was already cracked. I had a field day with the service manager. They did replace my windshield but thats about it.

Brent Jones...lol...Now if you got a book thats the only way..I didnt know if yall had some or not...Most dealers got rid of all them a long time ago.. Joe Clark saved the el camino, chevelle, and some of the truck books for us and they were a life saver for sure...But just pullin ur chain buddy,But for sure it will take you a while before you can claim the best chevy parts man around...Oh wait, you might be since i retired...lol
