Anybody have a G tech? I would like to borrow it to do some testing to get an idea of what this thing runs without having to go to the track because I'm worried about breaking something.

lol, you'll break it just as fast on the street as you will the track... take it to the track and use real timing equipment... i think mine 0-60 like a 6.1 with russ in the car and showed 14.4@95 or something... it went a 14.2@102 on the rev limiter and more spinning lol

It's an AWD 5,000lb SUV with a stock trans on four 20" drag radials and a "small shot". And I'm having to shoot it through the 1-2 because the crappy tcm shifts at 57-5800 and you can't change the shift points unless you buy a tcm. So I'm avoiding the track till I put a trans in it.

Must be a Jeep.

I have a measuring wheel so I might go grab a stopwatch and get somebody to clock me. I did the race calculator and I think we are close to it but I would like to check it.

yeah. I don't understand what they were thinking with this tcm. You have to buy a tcm and find somebody with a charger, magnum, or 300 to stick it in to change the shift points.

Not any more. Diablo has an update that will allow you to plug it straight into the Jeeps without having to configure it in a car first. If my memory serves me right.

Do you still have to buy the mopar performance tcm?

Yes, but you can adjust the shifts in the Jeep.

Sweet!

Just be careful of the install process or you can accidentally overwrite the Mopar TCM with the stock TCM config and render it useless.

Off topic, but those 2008 grands or around that year with the diesels seems interesting. You guys know anything about them? Eng/trans any good?

I think a lifted turbo diesel Jeep that can yank the boat/truck around would be sweet.

Is that Jeeps version of the Honda V-Tec?

why not let off the button on the shift?

nitrous controller. If I change the window switch to cut out at 5800 it looses alot of ET cause it shifts at various rpm in every gear.
1-2 5800
2-3 6100-6200
3-4 6300-6400

Right now the window switch is 2800-6100rpm. I feel like we could gain a tenth if it shifted at 6100-6200 throuhtout every shift because its not running the 1-2 out and it falls off to long on the 3-4.

Just talked to johan who works for diablo and he confirmed what you said. He said the newest diablo update has it.
