I was wondering if anyone has a similar setup and figured out the best way to launch. I have a 3600 stall converter and 373s. I know everyone says you gotta practice but figured I'd ask anyway. Break stall as high as you can before tires break loose? Flash from idle? Or breqk stall to 1500 and flash the rest? When i ran my car i stalled to 1300 then flashed the rest but didn't feel like it left as hard as it should and only cut a 1.730 60ft. Traction wasn't a problem because i put my tunnel mounted torque arm and drag radials. So now i need to figure out how to leave the line hard.

I really hope tci makes a better product now because mine tore up twice taking the transmission with it each time. It is now a TCS creation, but i find my 3800 likes to be stalled just enough put some load on the suspension. I basically flash it just off idle.

Best was a 1.59 on some 9 year old tires. Consistent 1.61-1.64 usually.

^--- same. I brought it up to about 1000 rpms and flashed it from there when na or nitrous

Thanks for the input guys im gonna try some stuff out. Ive heard a lot of bad about tci. I really wanna go to a higher stall so maybe ill go with yank and go 3800 or 4000.

I love mine now that cameron has made it his own. It could be worth your time to call tcs and have them build you a new one or overhaul your current one like they did mine. I only had $175 in mine with the new lock up clutch, stator and restall back in 08. He did go through it again this time last year and charged $150 for a cut and clean, so i know his prices are going up.

With my old car the best way i found was to launch between 1000-1200. A friend of mine has a z28 with a 3800 yank and really liked it but it had poor street manors.

i have a 3800 TCI stall and and normally stall up as high as itll go without turning the tires over which is normally 2200rpms and i would cut consistant 1.5-1.6 60fts.....this is on a completely stock suspension and factory 10bolt
