Ok so def need an expert on this one. Had my ls1 tuned, its a motor tune. (also had nitrous tune and done same thing ). The issue im having is when I accelerate hard to race my car drops timing. We had it at 23 degrees and it dropped to 10 degrees. You can force it with the laptop to hold the time but on its on it drops. What could cause this. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

The knock sensors will cause that? Dam .. that's why I asked the experts cause I would have never thought of that. Thanks! Will check tomorrow and let ya know what I find. Again thanks for the info

Unless you ask shartbody. His seems to be the only motor that won't pull timing.

You can log everything that can/will retard the timing and see what's doing it

Unplugged the knock sensor and deleted them from the computer and my car ran like a scalded grape ape! Thanks for the help!

I'd plug them back in, if it is sencing spark knock that much it'll beat the bearings out of. It with all the timing

Well it wasn't the knock sensors . Ran good for a bit went to race a ta and started doing the same thing again. Could it be the computer?

You really need to log all the timing PIDs so you can figure out what is going on. Sounds like you're sort of killing skeeters with a shotgun.

It won't let me upload it, but I have a timing evaluation cfig that has everything that can adjust timing. Send me your email and you can use it as well to see what your problem is.
