I'm trying to round up everything I need to get the ball rolling on my 87 coupe build. I just sold my 91 ssp coupe so I have the cash to do whatever I want with the 87....

I need:
- aje k-member and tubular arms
- coilovers and struts for fox
- caster/camber plates
- 99-02 Camaro alternator and alternator bracket
- flywheel to work with th350 converter
- 98-02 Camaro oil pan and pick-up
- ls2 oil pump
- ls7 lifters
- camshaft ( i'm going with nitous), something that will make great average power, but good peak as well. Car will not be a dd.
- valvesprings
- new timing chain
- all gaskets
- ARP head studs or possibly head bolts for the right price....

That's about it...lol

If you have any of these items for sale let me know.
Thanks,
Nathan

I have ls2 oil pump with 50k on it. Stock cam out of tbss and some ls7 lifters with only a few thousand miles on them.

alot of people are having lifter failure with the ls7 lifters lately.

I would go with the Cadillac Racing as they are only a little more then LS7s.

If you have the money go link bar.

As far as I know they don't make a flexplate for a th350/400 but they do sell adapters to make it work, or you can get a custom converter on the cheap from Cameron I paid 270 for mine.

The trans has a converter with it. I will just order the adapter once I have all the parts in front of me......

I'll look into the Cadillac lifters, I'm not going to pay for the link-bars on a $200 shortblock....maybe with the next motor...

I want a new ls2 oil pump, not a used one I should have clarified. I have a couple stock cams, I'm looking for a aftermarket one somewhere in the 600ish lift range. Pistons are clearanced for 650 lift....but I don't want to go that big. Max rpm I want to turn is 6800....

comp cams make a stock style ls1 lifter.

My bone stock LS2, not even bolt ons had a lifter tray fail at 75k miles and take out the cam so I'm a link bar fan.

My current build has an LSA oil pump, it is high volume, stock pressure. It is visibly a higher quality casting then a stock LS2 pump and was only ~$60 at the local dealer.
