LS7 Cylinder Heads and Black Widow Cam

Probably not going to find interest here, but you never know.

I was going to sell the Z06 in favor of a new CTS-V coupe but I think I've decided to keep it and just step the car up a bit.

I will be selling the factory CNC Ported LS7 Cylinder heads with 2.20 Titanium intake and 1.61 hollow stem sodium filled exhaust valves. The heads flow 360cfm and are populated with .675 lift springs, titanium keepers and retainers.

The Black Widow camshaft is a custom grind billet camshaft
.650/.650 246/.260@.050

This combo makes on avg between 575-585RWHP.

$2,500.

I'm going to sell this stuff as a package because the spring kit is on the heads. The cam kit was $1,000 by itself and only has 5k miles on it, so someone will be getting a great deal. The reason I'm asking so little for the complete package is because there is a possibility that the guides "may or may not" need to be replaced".


INTEGRITY FIRST:
Some LS7 Cylinder Heads are experiencing a problem with exhaust guides wearing out and eventually breaking the exhaust valve if people ignore the symptoms. As of right now, my heads are not having the symptoms of worn guides (engine using oil).



Chevrolet is working on a fix to try to satisfy everyone but it has been 8 months waiting on a response, so I was just going to sell the car and pick up a CTS-V. My wife and everyone else thinks I'm crazy to trading the Z06 for a V. So now I'm considering keeping the car and just stepping it up to an aftermarket casting with a matching cam.

I would take V over Z06 all day after tuning, driving, and being in both alot. I used to love the Z06's till V's came out and then after being in ZR1's the Z06 just doent do that much for me anymore.

Thank guys! As bad as I want a V, I'm going to hang on to the Z06 and just step up the game a bit. My goal is 600+ ish RWHP Naturally Aspirated.

In a perfect world, I would love to find a buyer for my Head/Cam combo first though to help offset the big upgrade cost.
