1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass (Coupe 442) OBO!! - $5000 (Myrtle Beach)
http://charleston.craigslist.org/cto/3500810055.html
It runs and drives (but hasn't in more than a year).
Rocket350/TH350 FAST!!! The Bad: Runs hot, fan switch installed to run all the time. The Ugly: Light Surface rust over primer/ Trunk is rusted out
my wife loves that body style, has always wanted a 442 (she had cutlass in high school)
just though it would be neat, the more I look at it...it's a piece of crap
1986 Oldsmobile 442 T-Top - $4000 (Orangeburg, SC)
http://charleston.craigslist.org/cto/3491618685.html
this just isn't in the same league....
i offered to trade the old red 1991 chevy for the top one.

be honest, it sounds like i would have to use the truck to tow it home.

I always thought 442 was 4 speed, 4 barrel, dual exhaust, and that car is lacking. The origional 442 hood is also not there. The 86 from the 1 picture, looks to be more of a 442, then the first one. I agree with Brandon, the first one seems like a sick joke..:bigthumb:

The first one is not a 442. Just a regular cutlass, and he wants 5000 grand with a rusted out trunk? Pound sand.
The second car looks nice and IS a real 442 (for the time period anyway.), if it has no rust id pick it over the first one.

I don't think the second one is worth $4000. Those years are not that popular yet. Plus they don't have anything really special in them. Just my $.02

You know how many "car people" look at you like you are stupid when you tell them that?

If its clean and around 100k. 4k is a good starting point. The 442 olds and the 2+2 Pontiac are odd balls but they still pull around 3-4k in good clean condition.s Only thing that would make it cooler and more valuable is if it had the lightning rods and doug nash unit.
