Yeah I posted this up on my FB about a week ago. Shame, I really liked that place but with criminals being the only ones in there with guns......I just dont feel safe eating there anymore.

But being it is a place that serves alcohol wasn't it already illegal to carry in there?

The bigger point is they establishment is making a point that they dont support the 2nd amendment. Any law abiding citizen who carries knows were to and not to carry. BWW is going above and beyond to make a statement. That is the point.

I understand the point, and as I have stopped using Autozone they'll be another to add to the list of establishments that can do without my business based on the Corporate policies and how they choose to enforce them. But in SC they serve booze for consumption, it's illegal already

Also take into consideration that this is out of PA. I dont know what they're gun laws are.
It is a moot point in SC but for BWW corp. to make such a bold antigun statement makes me want to take my business elsewhere. They have that right as I have the right to patronize a different establishment to procure chicken wings.

+1 on that. You can bet any big outfit or franchise more than likely makes political contributions using company profits. If I don't patronize such outspokenly anti-self defense establishments, then at least my hard earned money won't be working against me.

Criminals already break the law. What does breaking one more law really mean to them? BWW is just another defenseless victim zone just like schools are.

Not in Georgia, as long as over 50% of sales is not alcohol and you aren't consuming you are allowed to carry. And I forget Georgia liquor laws but I thought they required any place to have more than 50% of sales be from something other than alcohol.

And banks and all the other places you can't conceal carry. It basically co e down to either you follow the law like would should or take your chance and conceal carry where you shouldn't out of the protection for you and family. It does suck how the law makes it bc most of those places are areas where you need the protection the most!

I have heard of a lot of CC instructors in SC teaching their students that bank carry is a no-no in SC. In actuality, in SC, you can carry in banks as long as they are not posted with the properly formatted gun buster signage.
However, there are a lot of other states that prohibit bank carry like NC and FL just to name a couple, and the banks there don't require any gun buster signage to be posted.
As far as the draconian SC no carry laws in establishments that serve alcohol for on premises consumption, there is a bill floating around that would legalize that, but it hasn't been voted on just yet. In the past, state senator Jake Knots was in charge of some kind of committee that had the power to not let certain bills even get voted on, regardless of the expected easy passage of them. He stonewalled the restaurant carry bill every time it came across his desk and would not even let it come to the floor for a vote. He got voted out in the last election, so there may be some hope that we can legally carry in some of our favorite restaurants soon.

I think the biggest thing about CC in restaurants serving alcohol is because many turn into night clubs at night. As dumb as it sounds I can kinda understand why they don't want it at the clubs but it would be difficult to ban it from restaurants but not bars and clubs. I don't agree with it but thats how I see it.

Also my CC instructor said we shouldnt go to a place that has the anti gun sticker even if it doesn't meet the requirements of section 23-31-235. Has any of your instructors said much about it?
