IRS is worth a good bit more than that. At least one from 03/04 cobras are.

Ive seen irs swaps on craigslist for 500. Thats 300 in control arms also.

99-01 irs maybe, the 03/04 are alot more desired and usually fetch 1200 or so. I know i sold mine locally for 1200 not too long ago. Some people dont know what they have lol.

I thought he 01 was a 31 spline and the 99 is a 28?

99 has the 28 spline, 01 03 and 04 have 31 spline but the 03/04 have carbon cluches, stronger half shafts, and also some additional braces to help with wheel hop and strengthen them a little.

Depends on how much an IRS person values there setup. If they really want it gone to go back to a stick thats not a bad trade. If they feel that the IRS is gods gift to the mustang, then they want an exorbitant price.
