Who:

Weldon Boyd has decided to throw a Cars and Cookout event for any car enthusiast that would be interested in the Carolinas. Some notable forums and FB groups that have been invited are but not limited to: CarolinaHorsepower.com, Carolina Speed Freaks, Fayetteville Automotive Scene, and StreetLethalRacing.com.

What:

This will be about cars, food, and guns. Women too if you bring any! There will be a Shotgun Skeet shoot, as well as targets for rifles and pistols. Around 6PM there will be dinner served; more details below. Alcohol will be allowed but it is strongly urged that you use it in moderation. A Photographer (RoadCone) will be onsite to take pictures.

Where:

1892 Sandy Grove Church Rd
Lamar, SC

Weldon's Directions: "Take Lee State Park exit on that highway that links Florence to Columbia and signs will be posted on the exit as to which way to go. Only 3 miles from exit."

When:

It will officially begin at noon and go until midnight. You are welcomed to stop by sooner.

Price/What to bring:

Cost will be $10 per person. Bring your own beer and ammo! No hard liquor. Bring weapons, although some will be provided.

Menu:

-Full Pig
-Beanies and Weenies
-White Bread
-Potato Salad
-Assortment of BBQ Sauces

Rules:

-Please respect the farm and property. If you get too drunk or rowdy you will be asked to leave. Weapons safety will be observed at ALL times! We would ask that you save any drinking until after the shooting. Wives/girlfriends are welcomed as well. No burnouts on the driveway! He's for serious.

IMPORTANT: THIS will be the official signup page! Make sure that if you plan to attend that you join this event, even if you have already stated that you want to on a forum or another group. If you plan to bring a friend or wife/gf, then try to have them join the event as well or at least state so below. He would like to keep attendance around 40 people but is flexible.

Well sure, good sir. I was single and stationed in Italy as a paratrooper. I did quite a bit of traveling and partying. It was also the custom of many 173rd enlisted guys to date and marry them.
