Well so far Ive spent 100 bucks on fluids and the damage is extensive. For SOME reason the rear main seal didnt like being underwater for 45 minutes with the engine running. It is leaking like a sieve. I dont understand that at all. That engine had zero oil leaks prior to this excursion. Tranny wont take off in first unless you manually select first and if you punch it it will downshift to first from a roll but wont auto shift you have to drop it back down and shift it manually. We drove it five miles back to the shop with trans fluid that looked exactly like pepto-bismal so who knows. Transfer case looked like straight water with a lil ATF mixed in for color. Front Axle is slam full of water. The rear is the only thing that escaped unscathed. Now I remember why I hate the mud. Ugh. So tranny is screwed which was a perfect working TH400 that I was gonna sale to offset the cost of having Rob go through my 700R4. Engine ingested copious amounts of water during the fray and the water injecton did not help power output at all lol. Maybe one day I'll learn but I doubt it. Matt and Zac said it was the most fun theyd had in a long time so I guess it was worth it. We were howling like coyotes laughing our asses off thats for sure. Good times good times. Now for the fun part....Repairs.

Ya, M1009 CUCV that originally came with 10 bolts and 3.08's. Its now got a Dana 60 front and a 14 bolt rear with Detroits and 4.56's. Also has some recentered H1 Hummer double beadlocks and Military OZ 36's that ride like shit and are too small for the big one ton axles. (Not enough ground clearance) It needs atleast 38's to be worth a damn.

pretty cool, i've seen them on craigs and stuff. my dad had a '79 k5 with a 400 and a 12 bolt rear. it was fantastic in the snow. we had 17" or so in '87/88 and it zipped right along in it.
