Wonder how much the old 06 RAM has left in her. Overall its been a good reliable truck. Still has the original battery, repair bill has been about 110 dollars for a EGR valve, and passenger front HUB/bearing assembly. Other than that its been normal stuff like oil changes, tires, brakes. Pretty happy with it. and its been paid for since 2009.
So got some things to do.
Trans needs servicing. Should I just have the fluid vacuumed out/replaced, or drop the pan and replace the filter while I am at it? I hate dropping trans pans as I can never get the damn things to seal perfect again and this truck has no leaks of any kind.
Injectors could use a cleaning, its never been done. Seen shops do it but curious what they use and if its worth it.
Basic Tune up, plugs ect.

You need to add washer fluid to the list also. :poke:

At first glance I thought you were making funny for your low washer fluid level light coming on and saying that the truck was probably gonna have to be scrapped after that.

Nah its still sprays for now, thats a product of the wife attempting to defrost the windshield with it since the daughter missed the bus and she couldnt wait the 2 min for the defroster to do its thing.

my '04 broke a valvespring, needed a steering rack and a swaybar endlink by 60K miles.

I really like my '11, hope it lasts that long. I average 9k miles a year, so 15 years would be great.

original battery at 100k is Luck...it could lay down on ya at any time, I have been with Dodge for 20+ years and I would change the trans filter and refill fluid, have coolant flushed, set of plugs and drive it like you stole it. If you have been useing good gas skip the injector flush, clean the throttle body and idle passages/idle motor prindle. Sealing trans pan is no biggie just be sure both sealing surfaces are smooth and clean, use silicone to seal it, NOT a gasket.

I know.
Its surprised the hell out of me thought it wasn't going to make it through the winter last year as it would turn over slower on the cold mornings, here I am a year later and its still going like the energizer bunny just at a slower beat lol. This winter has been pretty mild, but when its cold it still cranks but surely it wont make it much further.

FWIW, IRT diesels, the 2006 i sold had ~130k, the 2001 i took on trade had ~320k
our 07 Tahoe had ~128k, but it had been USED in city traffic.
my DD chebby p'k'up now has over 222k miles on it, and runs 70mph every day up & down I-26.
it's not the miles, it's the stop & go (esp the jack rabbit starts)
iffin was mine, I would take it to Gerald or Robert, let them drop the pan & take a look see.
robert swapped out a $50 band in my 2006, saved me a complete rebuild.

Man I just love tearing down a 604 or 45rfe with silicone stuck all up in the valvebody. Filter usually catches most of it, but sometimes it dont.
Very few places on a transmission id use silicone. The pan is not one of them.
