what guy at Lowes said, to save water, it uses half clean & half recycled wash water to rinse the clothes.
that seems like it would work for dress clothes, but for stuff you get funky, like yardwork or wrenching clothes...IDK.
and if it does do that...where does it keep the dirty water at?
or does it just drain down half way, then add clean water?
i gotta know...
daughter bought a house over by Marc, and my wife decided we should give her our W & D and buy us new ones. that was stupid. :poke:
spent two hours at lowes talking about washing skivvies. good grief.
FWIW, lowes has 10% off sale today, and you can still use your military 10% off.

The way the washing barrel is designed, they use less water than a standard old style washing machine....

WAY LESS! I hold the water fill knob to fill my tub up more than it is set to fill. My clothes just weren't getting submersed, let alone clean! I hate the damn thing!

HE washers are about like HE toilets. they were engineered to barely get the job done while using alot less water.

never realized the "double flush" until i moved into my own house. i installed two top of the line toto toilets that were power flushers and pretty low water users 1.5 liters per flush? takes about 30 seconds to flush and refill. but you gotta watch it with these things... you'll leave a happy trail behind. gotta give it the double flush to clean the bowl sometimes. i party too hard for 1.5 liters i guess.
parents had some 40 year old American standard toilets that used about 4 gallons per flush. took about 3 minutes to flush and refill the bowl. but 100% clean as a whistle every time.

LOL, majority of the toilets in Europe are similar. I refused to double flush! and the hotel maid, HATED ME!! I've never laughed so hard while getting cussed out in a foreign language.

Just leave the poop trail. Its like doing a burnout. The marks tell everyone that you were there and they know what you did. Besides they will go away when you flush after taking a piss later.

my youngest was working at Lowes in the paint department. Does that really make him an expert on paint at age 18? These employees have no formal training on anything they sell. Do what most people do. First research the machines out there in your price range and read reviews then shop for the best price. Do not ever trust a salesman at the BIG BOX stores. LOL, dirty water to rinse clothes. That's a new one.

It doesn't even sound like an idea that'll work. Introducing water with some dirt but mostly water with detergent into the rinse cycle?? While some of the help at those big box stores do it to supplement their day job the majority are just regular people trying to make a check.

As a former manager at a big box store I can attest that most of the people that work there have no idea what they're talking about. The few that do are usually the retirees in there.
