My side by side Fridge is working but the freezer side has started to fan cycle ever second over and over. I have read where it could be a circuit board. Month ago it frosted up so bad the fan was hitting ice. Defrosted it and worked fine, still cycling though. Any thoughts??

I had a repair man come out, number i got off the board, no name on the receipt, something like "my wife's repair man" or something. he diagnosed it for 60 bucks, the parts to fix it where going to be 120, he gave me the option to just buy the parts, or have him install it, or he said i could just put take over the air vent to stop the fridge from getting so cold, so with 5 strips of tape, my fridge is right at 35 degrees all the time now.

Haha. My Wife's Appliance Repair is a guy I used to work with. His name is Jimmy. His number is 843-814-9465. Tell him Larry sent you. He's fixed appliances for several friends.

My bet is on a bad board. But I would test voltage to the fan before ordering that board. Sometimes the connector is bad/loose. Some fans have internal circuitry which can be at fault. If power to the fan input is pulsing, it has to be the control board. Sensors do not cause that type of reaction.
