Just got done with the latest mod..new pumps.

- Additional FPDM
- Dual FPDM wiring kit
- Power wire upgrade kit
- Stock fuel hat wiring kit
- Fuel pump install / PPRV delete kit
- pair of 340lph fuel pumps

When we took the tank down it was utterly amazing at the amount of shit in the tank. I kid you not there must have been about 1 cup of rust/shit. The pumps were rusty and there were no filter bags on them. They had been destroyed and pieces were in the tank. When we pulled the old fuel filter off the shit between it and the tank was disgusting. I have no idea how my car even ran but thank god for the fuel filter. It seems I'm getting 30 at idle and 80 when I punch it..sound rite?

I'd get those injectors cleaned and flow checked first.

^^^^^Very good idea.

Do you usually leave it below 1/4 tank? I'm asking because I had a tank do the same thing and I always let it sit a lot with barely any fuel in it.....

Anyone flow test these in town and usual cost?

I dont think anyone local does them, but its worth it to send them off for a week or so just for piece of mind that they flow correctly especially after you've already doe this much work.

shane check out fuel injection connection. they are located in georgia. jaime sent a set of injectors we had on the blazer down there and they flowed every one and modified them to work in a setup we had.

well at 25$ each injector, almost better to buy some new injectors from fic and sell your current ones on the forum as used.

But maybe you can call them up and just get a price for a flow test, then go from there.

I run ID1000's and personally, will only send the injectors back to Injector Dynamics to have them checked (it's usually free, considering the price of the incjectors).

Just the top part. It's not that bad, but that does suck......

It will give me time to clean the engine bay a bit and polish the SC. Just didn't plan on it taking much longer.

That's how it goes sometimes.....I want my 70 to run BAD, but even once I get the new motor together I've got to wait for pushrods once I measure what I'll need. It's always waiting on something....

I have a couple of those Ford modules from my Mach 1 laying around if you need more. I think I have an Aeromotive type boost a pump module to.:bigthumb:

i'd back flush the lines from the engine bay to the fuel filter too just to be safe.

have you priced a set of ID1000's lately? I doubt he wants to drop 900 on a set of injectors right now.
