It will probably end up being cheaper doing round trip.

I don't think you can rent just the trailer in town. It's something wacky like that.

cant do round trip, have to drop a car off and tow a boat back, one way is more expensive but it can be done

Neal did some research a while back and it was a set amount per day plus 50 bucks if you dropped it off at another location I THINK

If you pay for the gas I'll pull the car and trailer up behind ya and you can pull the boat back and I'll have the empty trailer. Just trying to help out, if U-Haul doesn't do one-way on trailer rentals.

Yeah it was something like that. Got everything off the Uhaul website, which also gives locations of where you could rent the trailer from.

It's looking like $118 for 2 days one way. Not too bad.

I hope the boat is in good running condition so I don't have to work on it:poke:

I believe Roberts Automotive on Dorchester is a Uhaul dealer. You could call them.

the way i figure it, since you have U-hauls roadside assistance, it's cheaper to use their trailer, one way, than to drag your trailer up & back.

I have rented a uhaul 3 times now (NY, NC, WV) and liked the idea of having them bring me another trailer if I have a problem,

then I don't have to worry about it being stolen, or having a place to put it while there.
or driving home with it on, and the wife unit don't drive much with trailers on.
and empty trailers are annoying.

(even with roadside assistance on your trailer...you still have a situation where YOU have to wait, with Uhual, you just grab another one & go)

at $118 for the rental i think its worth it, heck if i had a blowout on my trailer it would be $60-$80 to fix it and waste time

You could always float the boat in the passanger floor board
