I read or saw something a couple of years ago something like this, but the guy had shipping containers full of mint unrestored muscle cars. Seems like he had various rare motors like 426 hemi's, Early Ford SOHC motors, ZL1 427's and all kinds of rare / hard to find parts. I am surprised someone like Barrett Jackson hasn't run in there and tried to buy it all, before it could be seen. That would be awesome to look at. Just like walking back through time.:bigthumb:

Saw this on another forum, there's a video on YouTube going through several cars. I'm really thinking about going to the auction but I'm afraid people are going to run the prices way up.

pretty good find, but wouldn't they all need a complete restoration. engines possibly seized due to lack of oil? Mildew from being closed up? Rats and mice helping themselves to all kinds of nesting material and wires.

had a car once, they re-used the rear seat foam, just put a new cover on the existing foam.
car smelled like RAT URINE if you left windows up. would gag you.
yeah, I think you will be pretty deep into a resto on one of these.
IDK about engines, on the show "junk yard wars" they would pull a car out of the junk yard, and get it to run after decades of sitting.
my neighbor cranked his old 57 chevy after 5 years last month, sputtered a bit, then cleared right up.
Im not sure about the interiors being bad but they sure as hell weren't stored properly. If you were to watch the vids on youtube the interiors look fine. The batteries were never diconnected so they have acid erosion running down the battery to god know where. On the apache you can see the top radiator hose is all corroded from not draining the coolant, and a sizable dent in the roof. Only a few of the cars are desirable IMO. Most of them we old stock that never sold. There's only around 50 that are on the original MSO with low mileage... bunch of 4 doors and even some H/D trucks. The other 450 or so were tradein's that have been sitting on the family farm for decades so they're in pretty sad shape. Rumour is there's a 69 Camaro 427 SS that never been started and the hubcaps are still shrink wrapped but I didn't see it on the inventory list.
