just ran across this, apparently there are two different MAF's and they'll goof up the tune of a car...

repost ftw. no one on the G8 boards has mentioned it so I'm curious if mine is the same way. I'm going to check when i get home tonight

yeah, this has been beat to death on several boards that use the card style MAF. I changed mine to the newer style and it made ZERO difference.

kinda funny because the turbo cobalt uses the same card as a LS7 and they were always talking about getting gunked up in blow thru setups but no one ever mentioned there being a weak or strong card.
