Anybody have a set of Strut/Spring Compressors

I have a free day tomorrow and would like to swap out my springs. I really only need help with the fronts and while I know I could rent them, I wanted to see if anybody had any and can help me do this?

People like to think they need them on Mustangs..and don't. Are you sure you need them? Can you drop the A arm low enough to get them out? I know jack about Camaros suspension.

On a Camaro it's just a coil over a strut correct? It would be a shit ton faster to get someone with a on the wall, real coil spring compressor to just do them instead of them deadly individual could spring compressors.

all the how to's and do it yourself videos I have watched use the "hand held" compressors and it works out fine...I'll just aim them towards my neighbors!

Just take them to Robert. It'll take him 10 min with a wall mounted one. You'll be fighting those idvidiual ones for hours.

Big THANKS to 04ctd for not only bringing spring compressors but helping me out this morning. We ended up at BAD BOB's because the struts were corroded beyond repair. Thanks again you guys. Without even knowing me they helped a broke brother out. If you ever need anything give me a shout.

i was unable to get any compressors to work with my slp springs. i anny'd up and bought a decent strut compressor from northern tool. works great. stock shocks are always rusted on the tops. you should grease them before putting them back in the car to keep it from happening again.
are those niche wheels? lol

I have 1 kyb gr2 (adjustable) front shock if anyone wants it. Its new I got it in a warranty then never put the new one on before getting rid of the car. It was for my 98 so should fit all 4th Gen.

I will be heading to Iowa next month to do some work for my father inlaw and I've got a friend holding a set for me. My plan was to put them on my ws6 so I could roll it around but what I really want is another set of speedlines. I've got my car rolling on spares so I no longer need them. If you want them ill pick them up and bring them back for you. He is asking 100$
