It's Saturday night and they have MMA on. Now I like MMA and I got tired of the constant barrage of NASCAR on Speed since the Frances bought it, but I always like to have it on in the background in the garage.

got directtv recently after doing without for 5 years. now i realize just how shitty tv has become. everything is shit. now i just watch dvr'd stuff from adult swim. i have seen a decent show or 2 on velocity, though.

Sucks but it changed to NASCAR TV back 5-6 years ago.

It used to have all kinds of unique and obscure motorsports events but then it turned into "Does someone from Jimmy Johnson camp dislike such&such from the Gordon Camp...herp..derp" NASCAR coverage, pre-race, post-race wrap-up shows. Fucking 12-16 hours a day devoted to NASCAR. The NASCAB overload made me sick and I stopped watching that channel back in 2008 or 2009.

I noticed this when I was trying to watch a pass time that dvr'd and it was on fox sports 1. Now I can downgrade to the cheap directv package since they no longer have speed.
