Why does every body hate on mark king?

I'll probably get attacked for this, but I was wondering the same thing. I looked back at his posts, and other than grammatical stuff nothing really stood out.

He must just rub some guys the wrong way.

I will say this much. Mark is a very good friend of mine. He also built the small block ford I have in my white Mustang. It has over 200 passes on it now. We will probably freshen it up sometime next year. A lot of folks don't know Mark like I do. He would give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it more than him. I can't tell you how many times he has helped me out, and the folks I have seen him help at the track over the past couple of years. He will tell you like it is, and doesn't sugar coat anything. We laugh and cut up all the time, whether it be on the phone or in person. I know his spelling and grammar leave a lot to be desired, but he will admit that to you. So, I don't understand all the tags and hate either????

i dont know mark, or have anything against anything he has said/wrote here, but i think SOME people are just annoyed by his crying about rules of certain races that dont suit him. i dont race so i could care less, but thats what i get out of all of it.

...or maybe it's strikes against Harry and Mark for being friends with you. :poke:

schardbody hit the nail on the head. If you have a signature saying "Don't cry about it just get you some" and continually complain about races at Dorchester, then don't get mad when someone calls you out on your whining.

It all came to a head in the 28/29" shootout thread. Some of his posts were deleted, but there are quoted responses to some of the deleted posts that still show them. I don't take too kindly to my life being threatened.

I can't take credit for all the recent tags popping up, but I have added a couple in a few threads.

No, Streetking paid Dorchester to Cut the lights off at the track and Fake a power outage So he didn't have to run Slowgreen99 that was around 12:30 ish

Harry, the race was finished around 11:30. I just made the post at 2, once my phone recharged. The finals was a good match-up, but ended up being a different scenario.

Ha thanks Robert that's exactly what I'm using it for! The shootout was over at by like 11:30

The power did go out around 12:30. Even the houses across the street power was out. All the street lights in the area was out. Strange thing is that the tower still had power. I tried to goggle to see what happened, but didn't find anything.

The lights "went out" dead on 12 o'clock. And the homes behind the burnout box had lights on still...so did the tower, so did the ticket booth. Just sayin.

Ok, just got off the phone with SCE&G. They stated there was a power outage due to a fallen tree on line in the area around 12ish. If anyone want to confirm your more than welcome to call SCE&G @ 1800-251-7234.

So the other lights mustve cane from instant backup generators? Hell, everyone i know living in a single wide has one of those setups.

slowgreen99
09-16-2013, 11:51 AM
Its just fishy. I even asked what the deal was, and was told the lights would take 30 mins to come back on, and the EMT guys had already left. Ive been there for a few years and have never seen the lights out that early!

LDELEE
09-16-2013, 01:16 PM
No, peoblem Slowgreen. I guess u were told that because those floodlights have to cool down, then they will eventually come back on, but that was after power was restored.
