These seem to be getting very popular in the Charleston and surrounding areas. I need to get a set for my car. Where can I order a set? I wonder if the guys at CPS can install them for me? They have to provide a tremendous visibility improvement over the stock lights.

Seems more prevalent in the Heybo crowd but I think I'll start the trend in the sports car crowd.

fun fact, the higher the Kelvin (k) the lower the light output. Chris, you running halogen or HID?

Ddmtuning.com, as stated the higher the number the more blue and the less light. 6000k is the brightest with slight tint of blue. 35w is all you need, 55w take a chance of melting headlight housings.

some of the blue lights could be due to cheap ballasts.

Wonder if changing the blubs in my stock HIDs would do any good?

Probably not. You could try switching manufacturers to OEM Philips but 4300k is the best you can get.
Only other option would be a retrofit, or see if they have a lens swap.
I did an FX-R retrofit on my halogens which wasn't too difficult, if the OEM projectors weren't so expensive I would of went that route.
Another option would be to see if you can get a hold of a 2013+ setup. My neighbor has a 2013 and its got a pretty good cutoff and color for being OEM.

I have the 55w kit , so far no issues . Been in there for 3 years . I also have the 35w kit in my fog lights , no problems either . DDM Tunings kit has held up great for me and love the price point too !

Got my brother 8k @ 55 watts and they were not overly blue at all. 6k @ 55 watts should be close to pure white.

when you push the wattage up it brings the color temperature down some. either way the farther north from 5000K you go the less light output there is... anything blue at all is full on retarded in my opinion... I hope people that have purple, pink and green hid's in cars that they drive on the street end up driving off of a pier

Even at 5000k there is noticeable blue. I have no idea how 6000k @ 55w is pure white.
I went from Morimoto 5000k to Philips 85122+ and there was a huge difference. Not only in color but visible light.
