Selling or trading a gun off...

So i've decided I kinda want to trade off or sell one my 1911's because I have multiple of them, and I just kinda want something new...



BUT how do I decide. I like the Walther PPS 9mm, I like the XDS, I like the Shield, there are so many options. I've shot them all except the PPS...

I have a Springfield to. I just want something new I guess. Haven't gotten a new gun since April. Kinda getting to used to seeing the same stuff in the safe. Have a lower I need an upper for and some other cash to put with it so no telling what's gonna happen.

I HAVE carried it but when I got my Sig I started carrying it exclusively. I have an Old Faithful IWB leather/kydex holster I can sell with it and a pair of cocobola grips I can sell with it as well.

Gun with grips, and Holster - $550. (How I'd prefer to sell).

Of course it comes with the box, paperwork, lock that was included when new.

I also have a cheapo Uncle Mikes neoprene IWB holster I'll give to the purchaser for free. I used it just to cover / protect the gun when it was on bedside table duty.

How do you like the old faithful? I've been eying them for the XDS, but have since started looking hard at the alien gear.

Although I didn't carry the 1911 very long, I used thenOld Faithful and it was very comfortable. I've not had an Alien Gear to compare but have heard good things. I'm on a N82 bandwagon right now. VERY comfortable carrying the Sig!

Funny you say that, that's what I've been using for the XDS until I had to send it off. Very comfortable, but the "different" draw technique took some getting use to. Well built stuff for the price though.

Best part about the alien gear is you can switch the shells. So buy one $29 holster for one gun, and buy a different Kydex piece to swap out for any other gun, while using the same leather/hooks.

They will also trade shells for life. Carry an XDS for a while and then switch to a 1911? Send them the XDS shell and they'll send you a new shell for your new 1911. Pretty good deal to me. And they've been getting great reviews.

I "THINK" the Old Faithful guys can do the same. Not sure about swapping cases if you change guns.. but I "think" you can get multiple cases for the same leather and clips. I believe all the cases are drilled the same to accept the same leathers.."think"...

I shot the XDS last weekend and fell in love with it, after shooting it I really didn't show anymore interest into my Sub compact Taurus lol
