strano has really good prices online for shocks. now, I have heard good things about SLP bilsteins, and damn sure have heard good things about konis, what about tokikos? stock ride height.i daily this car and race it on the weekends in undisclosed locations in mexico..
which ones have you guys tried before? which ones would you recommend? are there any better deals that i didn't catch that would be cheaper than these? lastly is there a better set of shocks out there than the ones listed below in the same price range...thanks

X2, great ride with them in the vehicles I have been in with them!

I have ground control coil overs in the front with koni yellows and g.c. springs with height purches with strano revalved bilsteins in the back. Along with a bunch of adjustable suspension bits, an agressive alignment and sticky tires makes for one brutally fast ride.

Really just need to run whatever strano says. Cant go wrong then.

I've had the Bilsteins they were nice.. Do some research on those Konis because they are pretty new but they are probably badass too.

that sounds like a bad ass setup...

and fury im glad you said that...I think based on what sam was saying on;

the only thing I DONT want is it to be stiff like a subie.....

the only problem is that the new KONIs are just becoming available to f bodies and he only has testimony on other cars.....

now he DID say that the new Strt shocks were specifically designed to compete with tokikos and bilsteins.................so maybe.........JUST MAYBE...theyre better after all.

Mike,

I vote for the Strano/SLP Bilstein combo setup, not only because I researched this topic a bit on this last deployment but because lol Ive got those shocks/struts and Strano lowering spings sitting in my garage waiting to go on mine. The springs have been boxed waiting to be installed since '08 :shock:

If non adjustable is your only option then bilstein would be my choice. I had them on my 98 for a few months before selling it and they were good enough for an 8.0 at Dorchester in a basically stock car.

I want some shocks that I can corner in pretty good, yet ones that will go over rr tracks fairly smooth

sam strano gets back from vacation on the 6th ill just have to ask and see if hes gotten any reviews yet
