About Me

Jordan Greene Knives

I'm a 2nd generation bladesmith. I first began helping my father in his knife shop at age 8. After spending my childhood learning the craft I began making my own knives in 2004. Since that time, I have worked to continuously develop the skills necessary to provide high performance cutlery.

Very cool, niche market with the prices though.

They are nice, i think the prices are ok, more than i would pay though. Alot of the materials he uses are not cheap either. People who want hand made things are willing to pay top dollar for them because they know its one of a kind.

Its hard selling knives like that. I tried it, didnt sell as many as I wanted so I cut back on how I built them. Lots of the ones I do now are just blades that I get that are pre-hardened (saves me and the purchaser) lots of time and money) and then add the handles and finish the blades and handles accordingly.

from what I have seen, a lot of guys want a knive made from the horns of the antlers of thier first deer or whatever, and they will pay good money for good craftsmanship.

the damascus looking stuff sells real quick.

he can't make them fast enough, he never seems to have one I can buy when I visit.
