Dent Removal

Picked up a Honda for a daily driver, and it has a pretty sizable dent on the driver's side behind the front door. Do those suction cup things work or is there a better DIY option out there that's affordable?

The question may be, Can the dent be pulled out with the cup? If not, then consider a dent puller and do a little body work. Are there multiple creases in the sheet metal? Post up a pic of the dent.

my honda has 209k on odometer. got off craigslist for 1400 like 2 years ago. ive spent like 200 for some hose, and couple oil changes=rollin at 30mpg all day. you shall enjoy it! good luck with the dent.. cant just let it stay or is it a nice DD/honda

I ended up buying Rob's Accord that he had up on here. Only 113k miles and seems to be in great running shape. I need to keep from spending any money on it but I've already been looking at parts for it lol

Do the body work wet sand the whole thing with 500 grit and scotch brite the edges then take it to maaco. If you do your own prep work their paint will stick fine and you will end up with a nice DD.

I was actually thinking about doing that eventually. Would like to clean it up and tastefully mod it.

use a gopro suction cup mount... its worked for us before.

+1 on the longetivity. Girlfriend has a 95' with well over 400k. Runs like a top.
