New to the area

Hey all

So I managed to stumble across this forum..

I'm new to South Carolina, Charleston to be exact. Have a 09 Pontiac G8 GT that I bought right before my move...not what I wanted, but it's what worked for me at the time. I just moved here from Texas. Liking it so far, but from what I'm hearing the car scene is less than exciting around here. I'm holding out hope though that there is some kind of something happening around the area..even if it's hidden under a rock somewhere.

I'm also hoping to find a good body shop for a few minor repairs for stuff that happened on my move here, and a good performance shop for some mods I'm looking to do.

If any of you have suggestions on the shops please let me know, and any insight into the car world around here would be incredibly helpful!

Nice, so you know about PSR Performance. Went up there for their grand opening, put down 481/476 when I had the stock supercharger. Was stationed in CC at the time.

Nice! Yeah, there's a lot of good stuff out there. TX2K14 is coming up, may have to take a trip back out just to check out the races. Have several friends doing some work for it. 3 or 4 that are aiming for 1100+ and want to watch them destroy it out there

Paint/Body wise Baker Cadillac; Talk to David.

They replaced everything sheetmetal wise in front of the doors (drivers side strut tower and frame rails are the only panels they didn't change) and you could never tell it was in an accident.
