Anybody with these guys? Got a flyer in the mail, four lines unlimited everything for 100 bucks a month and they buy out your contract.
Im with verizon now. No complaints. I pay 170 a month for 2 lines, and one gig of data.
To me it just seems like T mobile is too good to be true. My service with verizon is great. If T mobile can provide the same service or even slighly worse service and still be cheaper then why not.

i went from AT&T to Sprint to Verizon.
coverage got MUCH better every time. my Verizon phone can tether data to my laptop ANYWHERE.
my AT&T & sprint phones could barely connect to data at our church.
"too good to be true..."

I've got T-mobile. It works great when you have a signal. However, Verizon has much better coverage than T-mobile.
Verizon does offer a loyalty discount to their users once you have been with them for over a year or so. You have to call them and ask for it. I've got two co-workers who did this, and it saved them a bunch.

I've had T-Mobile ever since they bought out Suncom, but before that I was with Verizion and will never go back to them. T-Mobile's coverage isn't as good as Verizion, but from my personal experience their customer service is way better. Verizion's customer service can suck my balls! I personally haven't had much coverage issues but from what I've heard is that it does drop off if you're way out in the sticks, which I don't frequent so it doesn't affect me. I've used my phone at your house Rob and don't have any problems.

I've got no complaints with verizon except the price. Coverage is stellar. Speed is fast. Seems to have 4g just about everywhere. I think I'll try what will suggested and question them about the loyalty discount. Been with them since 06 I think.

I live off exit 194 a friend of mine has Verizon I have T-Mobile (was with suncom when they got bought out). I can barely make a call from here, have to walk around my yard to find signal. My buddy streams YouTube videos sitting on my couch. I hate it but we have 7 lines and pay like $200 a month Verizon can't compete with their prices.

I used to have to plug in a USB cord to the charger plug on the phone (and not plug it into the wall) and that would act as antenna of sorts (i guess just the ground side) and that would help my AT&T phone work somewhat.
verizon is way to $$. and customer service is idiots, i agree.

what in the hell do you have 7 lines for?
Also, I pay 140 a month for a single line with 8gb a month. I tether to mine when shooting out of town and upload on site tho.

I guess they really have no reason to compete with T mobile.

Damn I pay $80/month through AT&T which includes the old school unlimited data and unlimited texts. Is that through Verizon? Seems kinda high IMO.

If you live anywhere from downtown to summerville the T-Mobile service seems fine. The data is slower though.

Straight Talk is good. I'll be switching to them later when my contract is up. $45 for unlimited everything for one phone and there is no contract. If you buy a whole year upfront its $495. It runs on Verizon's network as well so you still get the same coverage. Also with some phones you can just swap out the sim card and buy Straight Talk's plan and be ready to go, otherwise you'll have to buy a phone through them.

I just switched my at&t galaxy S3 over to straight talk I bought a Verizon micro sim from walmarts online store for 6 dollars and some change and activated my phone with them cost 49.77 after taxes and thats their unlimited plan. Reception is great and mine and my wife's phone bill got reduced by 65 dollars a month.
Monte if you plan to switch go to straight talk you will have the same service can keep your number and you will save 70 dollars a month. You can also use your current phone just swap sim cards and activate.

The only downside I can think of is if your phone is not transferable to their service than you'll have to buy one from them. Some can get very expensive like the new iPhone at like $600 but they have other phones for free or you can get a decent droid for like $50-100 as well.

Luckily most android based phones are transferable jump on youtube and search for how to unlock your phone there will be video on it.

We switched over to virgin a few months ago. We pay $70 a month for 2 phones, unlimited data and texts, and 600 minutes. Coverage isn't fantastic but can't beat the price, no contract either.

I've tried them all and have come back to verizon 3 times now. Price are cheaper on every other carrier, but does that really matter if you can't even call inside your damn home? Nope, I pay 99 a month 2gb unl talk and text. I get my monies worth.

straight talk is a Tracphone (sp) company. not sure exactly how everything works in the wireless world but i do know that the phone you use determines the network you'll be on. if you use a Tmobile phone you'll get a Tmobile sim and use their network, same for verizon phone etc.
straight talk data is also horrible regardless of network. if you do some searching you'll see MANY bad reviews. they throttle your data based on daily use or something crazy.
this thread got me searching the prepaid world and it seems like AT&T's prepaid "aio wireless" is the best bet right now, i just have no experience with AT&T's coverage, and most of the phones they sell are garbage, but you can bring your own phone. autopay knocks $5.00/month off your bill aswell.

T-Mobile works just as well as Verizon in metropolitan areas, but falls off in comparison when in rural areas. I looked at how often I actually traveled into rural areas vs. how much cheaper my bill is with T-Mobile. For me and my family (3 lines) the cost savings with T-Mobile far outweighed my needs to have strong coverage in rural areas, and by rural areas I mean the fucking sticks! My phone's reception is just fine for making calls at your house Rob, but I'm not sure about data downloading? If it was weak sitting on your couch I'd just use your homes wireless signal vs. the 4G signal.
