This kit is designed to convert your Ford speed density vehicle to the modern benefits of mass air measurement. Mass air metered fuel injection allows the vehicle owner to modify any part of the vehicle that increases airflow through the motor without negatively affecting the fuel curves. The mass air meter will see that there is more air moving through the motor and use the proper location on the fuel and spark tables. Mass air is very adaptable and friendly to future performance modifications. This is very similar to the kits offered by Ford Racing that utilize an 89-93 Mustang EEC processor. These kits include a complete plug and play wiring harnesse, Bauman transmission controller, 85mm flanged mass air meter, conical air filter and adapter, complete instruction manual, and other components needed for the conversion but does not include the 89-93 Mustang EEC processor. These can be purchased through Ford Service, junk yards, or used off of Ebay or other used parts classified. The processor just needs to be a 89-93 Mustang EEC in either manual or automatic format depending on your vehicle. Installation time is about 2.5 hours. I went to Amazon today and talked to Rick for about an hour about what he could do for Derek's truck with speed density and he is going to burn him a flip chip, one side for street, one side for strip. Hopefully he can get the power he needs out of that :D

there are speed density rigs out there running 10's and 9's in the 1/4  My truck could be in the 11's very easily with the speed density. Plus that kit I think isn't for the gen1 lightnings or isn't made anymore unles it is the new PMAS kit. Lord help all the gen2 guys who race me after getting a tune. Unless it is Mike or my dads truck after the whipple. Everyone else will probably be playing catch up to the farm truck

Hopefully I don't have a game that weekend. And if I do I guess I'll be gettin there late. But I need to get a chip burned for the 42lb injectors when I get them in. A good A/F will help me out tremendously.

Here is another idea for a mass air conversion
You can get the computer either from a junkyard, ford, advance etc for around $100 MAX
Ford sells the adapter harness that wires into speed density 75.00
and stock mass air meters are cheap on the corral.net, ebay, or even get aftermarket
