As some of you may know, I'm in process of obtaining my FFL. I have stood up an LLC for all of that, and am working with a company online for designing a logo and other stuff.
First off, if anyone needs a pretty cool and easy way to get designs done, 99designs.com has been awesome. For 299$ I submitted a "brief" describing what I wanted, and had over 100 different designs submitted from all over the world in less than 3 days. You can work with the designers, submitting feedback and refining their designs. Once the first part is over, you select finalists for the last round, and work with them to further refine the ideas.
If you don't like it, you don't pay. If you do, you get all the rights to the designs and can do with them what you like. The service has been awesome, and the designers even better.
Anyway, I have created a poll with some of the "favorites" and figured why not solicit some help from you guys on what to change, what to fix, and how to proceed.
So if you could, please click the link, vote, submit feedback, etc. and tell me what you think......THANKS!!

Headaches? I have no headaches. I am very pleased with this service. I've gotten over 130 designs in 3 days. Really helps, instead of having one designer's "vision" I got 45 designers' visions and got to tailor them to my needs. What more could I want.
I will keep them in mind when I get to printing shirts. Thanks

He could have saved you 1/3, if not more, in design cost. On a side note, do not go with the gun image (76) if you are silkscreening. In addition, colors equals dollars.
I do like the logos 76 and 94.

Cost is not an issue. It's variations and options that I wanted.
Why no gun for silk screen?

Thanks guys. I'll have another one put up tomorrow with the finalists. Even the designs listed in that link have since changed.
I have been super impressed with the results, and the service. Very well put together system and website, hassle free and easy to use.

You can put a gun on there. But the picture of the gun on woodchips would not transfer well to silkscreening. The gradient colors of shading and highlights of the woodchips would 3 to 4 colors by itself. Then the defined border would look like poo.
Call Craig. He can give you some advise over the phone of your design choices. I will send him a link to this thread.

Dude. I would say Buddy has a pretty good handle on what he's doing. Just let him do his thing...

Yeah, not even a close contender.
And wood chip background of the design is not part of the "logo," simply a background.

Logo is done. Thanks for the votes and help. Shortened the tree a little bit to make it not so imposing.
ATF will be at the house tomorrow morning for the "interview" and then 2 weeks later FFL will be operational.
Please go like the page on facebook to get updates. Forum members will get a discount on transfers, could be as low as $15. Thanks for the support.

I tried to vote before reading through the entire thread. The ones I liked best were like the one you chose. I like the one you went with. What are you thinking for your regular transfer rates? I work with a lot of people that buy a lot of guns.

Regular rates @ $20. Forum members $15. Multiples @ $15 per, $10 for forum members.
Need about 2 weeks before I'm rolling. ATF guy will be in my driveway any minute now.

He's gone. Was a great guy. I had all my ducks in a row so no worries at all. Smooth and painless. And I was carrying, concealed, but he saw the holster clip on my belt. Asked me how I liked my crossbreed and it sparked another discussion.
All went well, less than 30 days now.......
