Hey Mike challenge accepted. I want to run 1/8 Mile. I never had my car on a 1/4 mile track before. I will probably be pushing too many RPM's in the quarter with the gearing I am currently running and the size of the tires. I am at doing 5500 rpms crossing the finish line in the 1/8 mile. Dorchester would be good. It will have to be Next weekend or after the first before I can race again. Morey

Lets plan for Dorchester next weekend than.
I scheduled some days off for the 24th, so I can't guarantee I can make Dorchester. If I don't have to work I'll be there.
Chris,
If you were asking me, I cannot confirm nor deny that the bottle is on my truck again.......man some people talk too muck

No Problem. I am going out of town on the 31-April 1. If not we can run on the 8th.
I might go up to Carolina and give it a try. Might have to let off at the end. We shall see. Morey

Weather Sunday: Sunny High 60 degrees. 10% chance of rain. Good Racing weather.
Morey
Can we put off the race until the 24th
I'll probably have to work, but If I make it out to Dorchester the weekend I won't be ready to race. I'll be on drag radials. I don't have a chance against you on drag radials.

I want you to have all the advantages, tires and all. I still would prefer 1/8 mile. I don't think they will do there timng system for 1/8 mile. the only thing you would get is time slip with no win lights and all that is based on reaction time. The win light will come on at the 1/4 mile and not at the 1/8 mark. Also. I am in no hurry if you can't make Dorchester. There is always another weekend.
Morey we don't need a win light to tell us who won. If we add R/T + 1/8th E.T we will know who crossed the 1/8th first.
If that is alright with you. Like you said though there will always be another weekend.
