Well, surely she's totaled. Every body panel has damage, including the roof which has a hole in it......

Turned on Magwood drive behind a lady in a Corolla. She got in the median to turn left, and as I kicked down a gear to continue going, she decided she didn't want to turn anymore and came into the lane. I swerved a bit, and hit the curb, jumped it, and wound up spinning in the grass taking out about 100' of wooden fence.

One fence post went through the windshield by the mirror, one went through passenger side front window, and the vertical posts destroyed the driver's door, pushing it into me. I haven't been to the doctor, but will be tomorrow I foresee. Deep thigh bruise and the base of my neck hurts a little now. All of this and airbags didn't deploy....weird.

BUT...she did her job and kept me safe. The passenger window being laminated instead of tempered may have saved my life......

She hauled ass, never even hit the brakes. Probably didn't even see even see me. Bitch.

I always felt safe driving it too. But the fucking airbags didn't go off, that surprises me.

The front windows being laminated instead of tempered is a big plus. I did glass forever and never even knew the REAL reason why engineers call them out. Mercedes/BMW/VW and some others have/had models with laminated front windows. Apparently it's for safety, and I see that now.

Im glad to hear you are ok as well. Sucks that you totalled the truck. Might want to look into the air bag thing. Gm might need to do another recall. If nothing else it might save someone down the road.

I feel worse now than I did 4 hours ago. Steadily aching more. I'll go to the Dr. tomorrow as my left thigh is now almost too sore to walk on. I'm definately gimped up.

I Have a lightning if you want another one. I also have a spare built motor just needs new rings and bearings to go with it. Never drive the damn thing, so might as well sell it.

Right now I'm 0-2 with Lightnings...lol. I just need to get this one back up and running and get a cheap DD after. I'll probably sell the bike to do so. If anyone wants to come give me a hand with it, I can pay in beer and food :P

Is that an OEM FRS Splitter on that car??

That all depends on what they give me for it and what they want for the carcass, but I would like to, yes.

splitters are stupid and dont belong on street cars.

Better ditch those sticky tires and carbon ceramic brakes too.

Why? Those would actually serve a purpose. I never race at a road course where I would need a splitter. Never drive over 100mph either. If it was a race car I would be all for it, but as a driver I just cant see having that thing on there.
