Thats like asking which STD is best.
I'm pro-union, and Haley is anti-union. I'm voting Sheheen. Haley is going to win though.

They are now, use all their dues to pay themselves and fund democrat election campaigns. Anything that forces you to join or quit is anti-American.

Must not watch the news when Unions run American companys to other countries taking work away from Americans. GREED is a BITCH.
They are now, use all their dues to pay themselves and fund democrat election campaigns.
Only dues that are designated for political action committees are allowed to fund politicians. And those amounts are completely volunteer. Out of our local 2-3 people of 140 donate to a PAC. Of course were in the south, so I imagine that those numbers are different in the North (Blue States).
As far as the "pay themselves" comment; that's basically true, but that's exactly what the dues are for. The people that get paid are lawyers that handle our contracts. Contract violations by companies are a constant battle.
There has been a small percentage of corruption in Unions that have taken spotlight. So your answer to the few bad apples is to shut them all down. What about all the Corporate Corruption? You going to shut all the corporations down?

I feel like they used to have a place but they really don't now, except in a few cases. My Father in law was forced to either quit or take a 40% pay cut and join the Union. I fail to see how that helps him as a worker, and I fail to see how that's American.

That's the way the rest of the country works, why should it not apply to unions?
One stupid ass spills coffee on their laps and sues, so we can't serve hot coffee anymore, sorry.
One psycho with a gun shoots up a place so you want to take mine away?
See how that works? In a world that functions like this, then YES, if a few union reps do some bad shit, then all of them are scum.

There is actually a lot more to that case of COFFEE than most people including me knew at the time. She had every right to sue due to hot coffee, look it up. :cheers

yeah, McD coffee was giving 3rd degree burns to about 900 people a year, which works out to 3 people a day being burnt...and they had told corporate...but McD corp would NOT change it.
