PARKING ALERT
Just a reminder to all about our Law Enforcement Expo being held tomorrow, March 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Due to the very wet conditions of the grass fields that were originally designated for the Law Enforcement Expo displays, it has become necessary to move those displays to paved parking lots.
As a result of this move, the Strom Thurmond Center parking lot will be closed to parking except for the row closest to the building beginning today, Tuesday March 3 at 5 p.m. through Wednesday, March 4 at 4 p.m. The entire Library Building parking lot will be closed during those same hours.
Parking that will be affected is Faculty/Staff, Commuter and Upperclassmen Women.
Upperclassmen Women can park in the Quads overflow between Whittington Hall and the Quads.
Commuters can park in the other commuter lots behind the Science Building or near the hotel or adjacent to the tennis courts in the Field House parking lot.
Faculty/Staff can park in front of Jones/Ashby, Wingo/Norris, Field House nearest the building and The Hunter Center. Overflow parking and all other affected parking can park in the Football Stadium parking lot.
I encourage everyone to attend if possible. There will be static displays as well as demonstrations and recruitment booths from many agencies. I apologize for any inconvenience but the weather just has not cooperated.
