I tried to log in but it says I'm banned forever, I have no idea why. I re-registered and it rebanned me.

Anyway, I'm trying to find out info on this car, along with pics. I have no way to contact seller. Any help?

Man that first one is a hell of a deal if it's legit!

The red one is overpriced maybe 28k tops. The silver is a nice car with seems like mostly quality components used and is priced right. Silver one will need fuel, 80s wont cut it for the power potential of that car and he doesn't list the pump/line setup it has. And i would be scared to buy the car without a tune to know the motor is healthy and makes the power it should. Red car makes good power, has the fuel to do more if wanted and i imagine if you track either of them the trans/irs will be the weak links on them although the silver one does have upgraded halfshafts. I would take the red one over the silver if price wasnt a issue, just because the engine has had more work done even though the stock stuff in the silver one is pretty strong still.

Does that passenger side front fender and door appear to be mis-aligned, on the silver one?

lol good eye, i think its just the fender, who ever put it back on when installing the turbo kit didnt look very good haha. He also mentioned the hood needing paint under from notching it out but i didnt see it in the pictures.

The silver one was not an option for me after seeing the pictures. If the owner doesn't care enough about the car to clean the shit out of it before taking for sale pictures, then I highly doubt it's going to be something I would be happy with. I'm too picky.

However, the red one is pretty badass. It's owned by an owner of a performance shop, which I'm usually a little leery of- if they have a good reputation it's not a concern, but if they are knuckleheads I'm not interested. They also have their own dyno and those dyno sheets are from their dyno so you can't help but to wonder if those numbers are overcorrected.

I'm also thinking again about the 2015.

And also considering doing nothing. Lol.

Those numbers dont seem crazy for that setup on e-85 or race gas. Thats a bad ass blower for sure breaking into 1k+ isnt out of the question for it. I still think they have it at car dealership prices, not actual resell price. It does have the killer chiller too which is nice to have for that big blower to keep the temps down and power up. Its been for sale a while so i bet he would work the price down some.

I think it's probably been for sale for a while because the guy truly doesn't care if he sells it or not and I believe him when he says he doesn't need to. He takes forever to reply and gives bare minimum information. I feel like I'm trying to buy something from myself. Lol.

Has anybody figured out how to put an automatic in these easily yet? Last one I had it was still a pain in the ass.

yeah there are tons of guys doing it with different trans options. You can even sometimes get lucky and find people trading their auto setup for the t56 setup. Lots of write ups on how to do them.

My buddy was really interested in that car, but the guy wasn't very forthcoming with info on the car. He couldn't provide info on who built it or much of it's past history. I'd be wary of purchasing it if I were you.

Yeah my last round of questions went unanswered and I sent the email twice. I asked if its ever been wrecked, ever had paint or body work and asked if the motor had ever been hurt and the communication stopped. Lol. Probably not a good sign.

Take all the red flags/bad signs/communication, multiply by 10, and that's usually the type of person I buy a vehicle from. Which probably explains why I've had so much trouble with the latest vehicles. Oh well, #balleronabudget lol

The Cobra body can fit most any trans suitable for strip duty. Its the C-6, E4OD, 4R100s that are too big for the tunnel, but you wouldn't want to use one of those pigs for performance duty in a car anyway. The GM 4L80 would be the one to fit into a car tunnel if you had 700+hp and wanted to keep your overdrive and have it live a serviceable life.

The Mustang tunnels narrowed up a bit starting in 2005 when all they had from the factory was the wimpy 5R55 glorified Explorer trans for an automatic. I've done a 4R70W swap in a 2007, and bellhousing bolt access is a bitch with the narrower tunnel. You also have to dent the tunnel in about an inch at the manual lever to make room for that.

I don't know if Ford made the trans tunnels any bigger since they went to the 6R80 in 2011. I haven't had the privilege of messing with any of those years yet to know.
